TEKVOX is located in Austin, Texas and manufacturers the TekPatrol™ asset management monitoring system. TEKVOX also provides control system software support for integrators and universities. While working with these integrators and universities, we noticed it was very difficult to determine who had the final version of software. In some cases we had to tell the customer it was going to cost them a complete rewrite of the software just to change out a video projector or because the touch panel failed.

To solve these issues TEKVOX has created a web based version of source control called TekDataLocker. From this secure website an administrator will be able to create a TreeView of their systems and assign different access privileges for users. Programmers with full rights will be able to access this site on the web and be able to check in and out software, audio programs and drawings. All previous versions are archived and cannot be deleted by programmers.
